Ivy Valentine Retractable Whip-Sword Prototype by Arpoky Ivy Valentine Retractable Whip-Sword Prototype by Arpoky
A prototype of an Ivy Valentine Whip-Sword Prop. This is to be used as a foundation by anyone wanting to cosplay Ivy Valentine. This design is drastically different from the outlandish concept I drew up yesterday. [link]

When it comes to stuff like this, I am not good with drawing by hand, and I don't have any "professional" picture editing software, so you're all going to have to deal with good ol' Microsoft Paint.

Hmm, it should be able to switch between whip and sword quickly, without having to remove stuff.

They certainly come in handy! K'Nex are amazing for building prototypes! (They are also the only mass-produced children's toy still made exclusively in the USA.)

Rant Alert

There is a ride in Epcot called Soarin', which is a hang-gliding simulator. During the design phase, the Imagineers had no clue how to build the thing, until one guy pulled-out his old Erector Set. His idea was used as a template for the ride. ([link]

There was an episode of Pawn Stars where a guy brought in an Erector Set. The Old Man said the Erector Set and other construction toys made kids use their imaginations, while toys today are pre-assembled and disposable. He actually said: ”Kids don’t know how to play these days, and that’s what’s wrong with the damn world!”

Not sure how that was a rant but more info alert. lol love learning new things. My biggest problem with k'nex was the kits i got had instructions on things to build so i got stuck on what they provided for me rather then the lego kits which i would just build with. I also always managed to break my k'nex. =\
